Overview

At our Cedarwood facility, we are actively seeking an Equipment Reliability Supervisor to enhance the reliability and performance of our manufacturing operations. This strategic role is essential for leading predictive and preventive maintenance initiatives that keep our production processes running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Leadership: Direct a dedicated team of technicians in the mechanical and electrical maintenance of industrial machinery, ensuring adherence to safety standards and technical specifications.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program that ensures all equipment operates at optimal levels and remains in excellent condition.
  • Operational Efficiency: Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline operations and improve machine functionality and team productivity.
  • Scheduling and Supervision: Coordinate maintenance schedules, assign tasks, and oversee the execution of work orders to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with the operations and engineering teams to assess equipment and process shortfalls, devising strategic improvements to enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Vendor and Supply Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for maintenance resources and services.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze maintenance data and prepare reports to drive decisions on operations improvement and cost management.
  • Training and Team Development: Ensure maintenance staff receive comprehensive training and support, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within maintenance management, preferably in manufacturing sectors such as wire and cable, paper packaging, or processing equipment.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in mechanical and electrical system troubleshooting, with a strong background in digital controls and electronic monitoring.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical abilities. Skilled in team building and performance enhancement.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office and experienced in using advanced maintenance management software.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience in maintenance management and equipment reliability.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with launching and managing reliability programs.
