About Us

We're a locally owned, growth-oriented heavy civil contractor specializing in highway, roadway, and underground utility construction. We've built a strong reputation for quality work and a team-first culture-and we're continuing to invest in both our people and our equipment operations.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs (in-house and third-party vendors)
  • Maintain accurate service records and equipment history in tracking systems
  • Monitor and manage parts, filters, and tooling inventory
  • Identify equipment issues and help drive practical, cost-effective solutions
  • Update service intervals and maintenance practices based on field feedback
  • Prepare and submit monthly equipment reports (deficiencies, mileage, etc.)
  • Ensure operations run efficiently to minimize downtime and support field needs
  • Hire, develop, and manage equipment personnel, including performance evaluations
  • Partner with the Equipment Manager to meet department and company goals
  • Be available for occasional off-hours or weekend needs

What You Bring

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team
  • Solid organizational and scheduling abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with computers and maintenance tracking software
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field teams and leadership
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional training or experience preferred)
  • A proactive mindset and interest in growing into expanded leadership responsibilities

Why Join Us

  • Privately owned company with strong, steady growth
  • Team-oriented culture with a focus on accountability and collaboration
  • Key leadership role with direct impact on field operations
  • Long-term stability with opportunities for advancement as we continue to grow
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package

Work Environment

This role includes a mix of office, shop, and field responsibilities, working closely with equipment personnel, field teams, and leadership in a fast-paced construction environment.
