Job description

NED, LLC. is a large heavy equipment dealership with over 30 years of industry experience in equipment sales, rentals, and customer support. Through mergers and acquisitions, NED, LLC. has grown through multiple acquisitions of independent heavy equipment dealerships, including Four Seasons Equipment, MAY-RHI, Earthmovers Construction Equipment, Richardson Service 1991, Inc., Grove River Machinery, and L & N Supply Company Inc. Today the company is re-branded under one unified name, NED - National Equipment Dealers.
Work Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm
Pay: $45,000 to $60,000/annually; plus, commission/bonus

Qualifications
National Equipment Dealers, LLC. has an immediate opening for a qualified ambitious inside sales representative in a fast-paced environment. This self-motivated individual will work with our heavy equipment field sales team to assist with logistics, rentals, sales quotations, sales admin, product information, and machine demonstration, with the ultimate goal of increasing branch sales and rentals.
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft systems (Outlook, Excel, Word) and possessing typing and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate as well as understand read and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be able to multi-task and be detailed orientated with demonstrated follow through and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Experience with heavy equipment, agricultural or industrial equipment sales or inside sales experience a plus
  • Basic knowledge of construction equipment or operational practices preferred
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Understanding of general repair practices and dealership aftermarket capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to equipment and proper documentation.
  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; college degree a plus
  • Must has a valid Driver's License and clean driving record

We represent some of the top brands in the industry including, Hyundai, Construction Equipment, Bell Off-Road Trucks, Manitou, Sakai, Dynapac and other products.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedules, organizes, and directs all activities including shipping, receiving, and storage. Ensures project and company specifications and standards are adhered to. Handles all rental contracts and schedules readiness of rental equipment as required with management and shops. This includes entering rental data into the operating system and managing the status of that equipment.
  • Sales and rental assistance of company-owned equipment including finding available equipment, maintaining proper documentation, writing contracts and arranging logistics
  • Attend to walk-in customers on product and rental machine walkarounds and demonstrations
  • Routine inventory audit of machines and attachments on the yard
  • Advise management on day-to-day activities and any follow-up needed
  • Support sales staff as needed with past due collections and obtaining rental documentation
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships in cooperation with the field sales staff
  • Prepare and present product information to new customers as needed
  • Assist with customer and operator training as needed
