Summary:
As a member of Purchasing you will be working with our Purchasing and Customer Service Team! You will primary be responsible for handling market and purchase requests for our internal teams. You will be an important part of our Customer Service team working with our Sales Department to restock our inventory. This is an entry level position with opportunities to move into more complex roles such as Management, Repairs, Sales.
This position is for a FULL-TIME position in Miramar, FL Office. Considered Entry Level
Responsibilities:
As a member of our Purchasing Team some of your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Entering Quotes into our CRM/Database system.
- Handle various tasks relating to Purchasing Inventory and Purchase Orders.
- Gather market intelligence using various platforms to develop accurate pricing.
- Help manage orders and coordinate with our warehouse.
- Follow up with Repair orders and verify airworthiness paperwork.
- Manage vendor relationships and assist in business development.
- May be allowed to travel to Customer Visits / Trade Shows
- Work and communicate with other team members.
Basic/Minimum Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Must have basic communication skills.
- Answer and handle incoming phone calls.
- Have proper phone etiquette.
- Be organized and have the ability to work well within a team.
- Work with Microsoft Office and various computer programs.
- Have reliable transportation.
Bonus/Preferred Requirements:
- Receptionist Experience (1-2+ Years)
- Previous Aviation Experience
