Seeking a qualified Assistant Manager/Leasing Consultant. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, professional to provide excellent customer service and help us maintain property occupancy goals.

As the Assistant Manager of multiple properties, you make sure that customers are satisfied and that you are contributing to the achievement of our leasing and resident retention goals. In addition to our competitive salaries, we also offer commissions paid for new leases and renewals.
Qualifications:
- Must have 1-4 years of Leasing Consultant or 1-4 years Assistant Manager experience
- Possess superior telephone, oral, and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in a results-oriented, team-based property management environment
- Resman or other property management software experience a plus
- Marketing and sales abilities to increase occupancy and resident satisfaction
- Must be able to prioritize and multi-task
- Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with co-workers, residents, vendors, and corporate office staff
- Must possess good telephone, oral, and written communication skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Must be adaptable, able to multi-task, and prioritize
- Professional appearance and demeanor required
- Must have the ability to create relationships/rapport with residents and vendors; ability to work with a diverse array of people and customers
- Must be able to walk the property and climb stairs
- Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
Essential Functions:
- Ability to take direction and work as a team player
- Handles all aspects of leasing apartments, including greeting prospective residents, touring the community, and closing the sale prior to move-in
- Provides inspections of vacant apartments making sure they are show-ready.
- Marketing; Monitors the accuracy of advertisements, accurately and consistently documents traffic, marketing sources, and assists in leasing events and promotions, follows up with leads
- Marketing and sales activities: Uses creative and energetic approach to making sure the community knows all the advantages of living at your property
- Maintains working knowledge of Fair Housing laws, rules and regulations concerning multi-family leasing and management
- Performs inspection of common areas and community amenities
- Other tasks as assigned by Property Manager
