About the Position
The Part-time Customer Service Representative will be responsible for customer interaction and assistance. This is a part-time opportunity with our growing organization. Our ideal candidate would work Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm, but we're flexible with the hours. This opportunity is completely onsite at our Mentor location.
The position offers PTO on an accrual basis. The Part-time Customer Service Representative will report directly to the Auto Glass Manager.
Essential Job Functions
- Professionally answer incoming calls from customers, insurance agents, and other parties to listen to their needs and answer any questions they have.
- Gather all information necessary to schedule a repair and book service appointments.
- Using basic sales techniques, create quotes and communicate to potential customers originating from our Website, Yelp, SMS, Social Media, and other inbound channels.
- Assist in billing and accounting.
- Keep in contact with customers and give updates throughout the repair process.
- Contact Insurance companies as needed to check in, answer questions or help coordinate glass service with one of their policyholders.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Ability to operate a computer and telephone systems while seated for extended periods of time
- Ability to work part-time
- Previous experience in the Body Shop or Glass Repair industry preferred but not required
