Job description

Apply for Delivery Specialist at O'Reilly Auto Parts in Hillview, KY, US. This full?time, on?site position offers great opportunities for career growth.

Essential Job Functions Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.

Use delivery fleet management hand?held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.

Keep vehicles clean and maintained, completing daily inspections before operating.

Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand?held devices, and monies collected at all times.

Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips.

Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management.

Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to the store manager immediately.

Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of days business.

Clock in/out according to company policy.

Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc.

Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.

Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, Abilities Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.

Driving record must meet the standard set in the companys 14/18?point record system.

Must possess a legally required state drivers license and meet company?mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Desired: Familiarity with automotive parts.

Ability to operate other light store equipment.

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
