We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our team. While spa experience is beneficial, it is not required for success in this role. We are particularly interested in individuals with a strong background in hospitality who are eager to transition their leadership skills from guest rooms to locker rooms!

Inventory, Revenue Management, and Budgetary Knowledge: Leverage your expertise in financial management to support our spa's locker inventory, revenue, and budgets, mirroring the precision required in hotel management

Guest Service/Journey Focus: Craft unparalleled wellness journeys, offering guests an immersive, seamless experience that connects them with nature, others, and themselves, transcending traditional spa expectations

Property Management System Proficiency: Utilize your proficiency in property management systems to master our proprietary Nordic Spa PMS, enhancing operational efficiency and guest satisfaction

Online Distribution and Channel Management: Elevate our spa's presence and accessibility by supporting the optimization of online booking channels for maximum reach and impact

Basic Maintenance and Facility Management: Apply your keen understanding of facility upkeep to maintain the impeccable condition of our spa spaces, ensuring a flawless operational and guest experience, ensuring everything works just right

Eye for Detail & Quality: Employ your innate attention to detail to create an immaculate, well-ordered environment where every element meets our highest standards of quality and guest readiness

Experience/Passions/Education

  • Minimum 3 years of management experience within the hospitality industry
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma is an asset
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
  • Inventory, Revenue Management, and Budgetary Knowledge
  • Comfortable with technology and open to new learning
  • Passion for nature, adventure and the outdoors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • A true passion for mental and physical wellness

Working Conditions
This position may work long days and/or weekends to meet periodic upturn in business demands or meet deadlines. This position is set in a fast-paced environment, with high levels of interaction with employees, guests and other stakeholders. Working outdoors in a variety of Mountain weather conditions, with average temperature ranges of -30 C / -22 F to +30 C / +86 F.

Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Visual ability to observe employees in the workplace, analyze operations and detect situations of concern with regard to areas such as employee performance, grooming, training and policy adherence. Employee may be required to pass a functional capacity test developed for this job.
