Assistant Director

Roles:

Versatile Team Player: Be prepared to

take on any position within the building, ensuring seamless operations and

exceptional care for our children.

Collaborative Partner: Work closely with fellow educators and administrators to create a supportive and inclusive

learning environment.

Engaged Communicator: Foster strong relationships with parents through regular communication and updates about

their child's progress.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Director in managing daily operations of the preschool.
Supervise teaching staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
Assist in developing and implementing curriculum and educational programs.
Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing standards.
Oversee enrollment procedures and communicate with parents regarding admissions, scheduling, and concerns.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, and record-keeping.
Collaborate with the Director and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Conduct staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Serve as a liaison between the preschool and external stakeholders, such as community organizations and regulatory agencies.
Assist in resolving conflicts and addressing issues that arise among staff, parents, or students.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for children, adhering to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Previous experience working in a preschool or childcare setting, with supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Familiarity with state regulations and licensing requirements for preschools.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Passion for working with young children and dedication to their growth and development.
