Napa Kitchen + Bar is a Columbus-based polished-casual dining restaurant known for fine food, an expansive wine selection, vibrant full service bar and outstanding service.
As a General Manager you will have responsibility for ensuring great service and hospitality to our guests. Your attention to detail, great training and great employee relations skills will be paramount to your success
Responsibilities and Duties
-Ensure the best possible guest service through excellent training and coaching
-Maintain equipment and facilities as requested.
-Complete daily checklists to ensure the quality of products and cleanliness standards are met
-Manage P&L expectations and meet financial goals
-Hire staff and carry out Training programs for restaurant staff
-Complete weekly and monthly inventories
-Perform scheduling of staff in accordance with projected sales and labor goals
-Place weekly wine/beer/liquor orders maintaining budgets and proper inventory levels
-Work directly with Executive Chef to manage kitchen schedules and labor and inventory and food cost
-Lead a management team consisting of as many as 3 additional salaried managers
-Work with managers to cultivate and develop leadership skills
Qualifications and Skills
-Minimum of 3years in a General Manager position in a full service casual dining restaurant
-Beverage knowledge with an emphasis on wine
-High energy level with a can do attitude as well as a motivated attitude to be the best possible restaurant in town
-Strong leadership skills displaying passion and common sense
