Crisis Center Director

Spurwink Services is looking for an experienced and dynamic leader to be our Crisis Center Director within our Adult Behavioral Health Program. Spurwink Services' Adult Behavioral Health Program provides interdisciplinary community-based outpatient psychiatric treatment to adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring chemical dependencies. The Crisis Center Director will have the clinical, crisis resolution, and administrative skills, necessary to lead a first in the State 24-hour Crisis Center.

DUTIES:

• Administer day-to-day operations of a living room model crisis center.
• Involvement in recruitment, selection, orientation, training, and evaluation of staff.
• Assure compliance with all aspects of contracted services.
• Supervise the Crisis Center Clinical Team Leads and other staff as needed.
• Learn and promote Evidenced-Based Practices to assure the best possible outcomes for consumers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Masters' degree from an accredited school. Clinical licensure of LCSW or LCPC preferred. Maine state alcohol and drug counselor certification preferred. 1-2 years of relevant supervisory experience preferred (i.e., mental health, social services). Must maintain required licensing and certification throughout the duration of employment with Spurwink in this role.
