Social Media Manager

Are you looking for an opportunity to innovate with brands in the social space? Inside Ideas is looking for a Social Media Manager to play a key role in driving business success through best-in-class use of social media and digital. This role will be fully remote working Eastern time zone hours based in Canada.
The successful candidate will have a strong background of working with digital and social channels and have a love of technology. You must excel in producing, engaging in creative social media and digital work across planning, strategy, and media. Ideally you have experience working for clients in regulated industries but are still able to innovate in the social space.
In this role, you will be responsible for fostering social communities through Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. Working closely with the brands and in conjunction with the team's account and design members, you will be representing the voice of the consumer, monitoring conversations, ideating creative, managing the creative process, posting content, and managing the daily operations of various social challenges. This is about engaging, building and proactively managing a positive social media community as well as working with clients and team members to plan and create monthly social content calendars/strategies, increasing social reach and engagement. The successful candidate will also have an intuitive, up-to-the-minute feel for the major platform algorithms based on recent first-hand experience of managing active, growing social channels, most likely within a digital publishing or brand environment; and the ability to turn that knowledge and data into clear actionable direction for content creatives and producers.
With a strong editorial, audience-first mindset, a keen eye on emerging digital trends, new platforms and audience behaviours, you will be able to offer a clear position on how brands should best behave in social. You need to understand and be capable of clearly communicating the difference between native/editorial and ad content and the ability to commission, create and optimize both on all key platforms. Experience of integrating social into email/CRM, e-commerce and shoppable content strategies will be an advantage.

What you will be doing:- Manage content calendars for multiple brands and oversee the strategic approach for various channels
- Keep up to date with the latest social trends & tools, leveraging them for social campaigns and providing strategic recommendations for implementation
- Create timely and engaging content optimized for platform uses and intended audience
- Collaborate with creative team on social creation process
- Continue to refine and define our clients' social media marketing process
- Work closely with our Account Management and Creative teams to develop new social media opportunities for revenue growth
- Work directly with clients and agency teams in a fast-paced setting
- 3+ years of experience managing and delivering successful social media campaigns at an advertising agency
- 2+ years of experience with social tools and analytics such as Facebook Insights, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and Google Analytics
- Ability to strike a balance of creativity and organization
- Comfortable working in the Intimate Wellness space
- Strong understanding and experience in ongoing social media strategy and implementation
- Ability to own the thought leadership across multiple brands looking to increase their relevance and performance in the social space
- Experience synthesizing social media performance insights to action into creative optimizations
- Verifiable examples of social media marketing successes and wins
- Have a strong understanding of social platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Hootsuite, and more
- Experience creating engaging content
- Ability to spot social opportunities in client's niches
- Ability to work under tight deadline and be able to handle multiple projects at any given time
- Basic MS Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with regulated industries is a plus
