Digital Media Manager

Position Overview

The Digital Media Manager supports the I Corps Public Affairs Office by planning, producing, coordinating, monitoring, and assessing digital communication products for official platforms. The role supports communication of accurate, timely, and relevant information to internal and external audiences regarding I Corps operations, training, personnel, events, command priorities, and significant activities. Final messaging approval and public release authority remain with the Government.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support digital communication products, including written content, imagery, graphics, video products, and other multimedia materials.
  • Assist with digital communication plans for command priorities, exercises, operations, leader engagements, and significant events.
  • Maintain the digital publishing schedule and support daily social media posting requirements, including Facebook/Instagram content, reels, and unique video products.
  • Submit draft content to the Public Affairs Office for review and approval before publication.
  • Monitor official I Corps digital platforms for public comments, questions, direct messages, misinformation, threats, harassment, unlawful content, or issues requiring Public Affairs awareness.
  • Develop and maintain an approved FAQ response library and respond to routine public inquiries using Government-approved responses.
  • Support copywriting, editing, design, layout, graphics, imagery, audio, video, captions, hashtags, CTAs, SEO/SEM practices, and other content development activities.
  • Support real-time event coverage through posts, live-video, stories, and other social media best practices for annual training, brigade-or-higher changes of command, distinguished visits, and other approved events.
  • Conduct information environment monitoring, narrative identification, misinformation detection, media coverage awareness, and communication performance analysis.
  • Support executive communication products, including professional briefing decks, infographics, VIP briefs, trifolds, and handouts when approved by the COR.
  • Maintain visual information assets using standardized metadata, file naming conventions, categorization structures, and repository controls.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least three years of experience in public relations, marketing, communications, or related fields.
  • Five years of working knowledge/experience using Adobe Creative Suite and digital/social platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, X, Sprinklr, LinkedIn, and/or other emerging platforms.
  • Experience developing digital media content for public-facing and internal communication channels.
  • Familiarity with Army and Department of War regulations governing social media and external official presence, including FM 3-61, JP 3-61, DoDI 5040.5, Army OPSEC requirements, and the Army Social Media Handbook.
  • Familiarity with military operations, organization, customs, and operational security considerations for publicly releasable communication products.

Certification Requirement

Clearance / Security Requirement

Secret clearance is required. Personnel must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance, follow OPSEC requirements, and obtain Government approval before any classified or unclassified information related to the contract is released publicly.
