What will you do in this job?

Learn from our team of dedicated hospitality professionals
Receive training, supervision and hands-on opportunities to develop a full range of guest service skills in a rotation of roles
Receive mentorship, support and feedback
Front Desk: register and assign rooms to guests, maintaining knowledge of availability for walk-in guests; offer guests information about available services, points of interest in the park and surrounding area, and entertainment options
Housekeeping: Ensures that cleaning and sanitizing of rooms and common areas in hotels, lodges and cabins, including bathrooms, beds, desks, kitchenettes, floors and surfaces is completed thoroughly and on time; helps lead team of cleaning gurus
Food & Beverage: greet and attend to guests in a friendly and welcoming manner; clear and reset tables as needed and keep tables neat and clean throughout service; assist service staff as necessary with delivery of food or beverages; assist as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences and banquets
Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor
Offer assistance to guests and teammates where needed
Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

Actively enrolled in an accredited hospitality or tourism program
Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required
Be willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
Be committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
Be organized with a great eye for detail
Be kind to others and always bring your best
Be a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions
Be helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile
Be relaxed, flexible and able to handle a few curve balls
