It is an exciting time to be at Olo, a restaurant tech pioneer rapidly expanding its product base and moving into new markets.

Olo's Strategy and Operations (S&O) MBA Intern will sit at the heart of Olo's growth strategy on our cross-functional S&O team. We are looking for a growth-oriented athlete adept at both building strategy and executing it. This individual will report to the Head of S&O and work alongside the Olo C-Suite, Executive Team, and cross-functional leaders to develop Olo's corporate strategy as part of our annual leadership offsite.

The ideal MBA Intern will possess the right mix of hard skills (e.g. data analysis, deck making, writing), soft skills (influencing, storytelling), and passion to take strategy from whiteboard to reality.

What You'll Do:

Work with the S&O team and wider Olo to develop key deliverables for our strategy offsite. These include:

Future of Restaurant Technology (FoRT) report - review of Olo's external market - customers, partners, competitors, and macro trends
Path to $1 Billion in Revenue - Olo's product-driven strategy to reach $1B in annual recurring revenue
State of Olo - Strategic Review of products / business lines

The work above will include strategic items, such as:

Analysis of data from Olo and external sources
Research of qualitative sources (market research reports, news articles, equity research reports)
Deck / slide making, crafting compelling outputs based on the analysis above
You will be both a player and a coach (making outputs yourself and helping other team-members to upskill)

And Operational items, such as:

Project managing the above
Stakeholder engagement (gathering feedback on drafts, etc.)

What We'll Expect From You

Preference for first year MBA student
4+ years of relevant experience spanning Consulting, In-House Strategy, Product, Operations, Project Management, Finance, Integration, or Corporate Development; Consulting experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience managing complex processes successfully
Demonstrated experience delivering high quality strategic consulting work
A growth- and results-oriented mindset
Ability and track record of building relationships and influencing stakeholders
Passion and drive to learn about restaurant SaaS
Well-rounded technical toolkit, including creating professional, consulting-grade decks, documents, workbooks; plus experience with project management software of choice
Ability to deal with ambiguity and scope projects from end to end - i.e. independently determine what question to answer / goal to hit
Relevant industry experience in restaurants, technology (especially SaaS), or their intersection is a "nice to have"

We're remote-friendly. Since 2015, we have been evolving our culture to continue to support a more distributed workforce and now over 75% of our team works remotely across the U.S. If you're in the New York City area, you can choose to work remotely or from Olo's headquarters, located in Tribeca.

The compensation for this position is $25/hr for the duration of the internship program.
