The Launch Pad has an exciting job opportunity for a Program Coordinator at the Coral Gables Campus.

Salary range: $32,000 - $45,000.

CORE JOB SUMMARY

The Program Coordinator coordinates day-to-day operations of the program. Moreover, the coordinator assists with the development, organization, production, and evaluation of the program to achieve its mission, goals, and objectives. An employee in this position demonstrates familiarity with University policies and procedures and ensures program compliance. The Program Coordinator spends a great deal of time interacting with students and clients of the department, and reports to the Assistant Director.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Coordinates the implementation of Launch Pad programs, events, workshops and related activities from development and launch to completion and evaluation.
  • Serves as a liaison with a wide range of internal and external constituencies and program constituents.
  • Researches and evaluates best practices and prepares recommendations in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of program activities.
  • Assist with the preparation and/or delivery of program content.
  • Facilitates collaboration between different schools, community agencies, and/or academic support units throughout the University.
  • Coordinates the collection, compilation, and analysis of program activity data.
  • Drafts comprehensive, statistical, and/or narrative program reports and evaluations, and monitors program effectiveness, making suggestions for revisions when appropriate.
  • Coordinates the scheduling of program components.
  • Drafts and initiates correspondence, develops agendas, maintains calendars, assists in accumulation of reference materials, and coordinates and attends committee meetings.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of program marketing.
  • Provides assistance and support for participants and/or program constituents in all administrative aspects of the program and maintains files and/or program data.
  • Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
  • Supports department and office operations.
  • Works closely with full time staff as well as student support staff on daily basis.
  • Integral to execution of various interdepartmental projects and events.
  • Key in organizing entrepreneurial programming and connecting with key stakeholders.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Fluent English reading/writing skills.

Experience:

1year of work experience preferred in an office or other high paced environment. Two years of experience preferred. Any appropriate combination of relevant education/or work experience may be considered.

  • Excel / Google sheets
  • PowerPoint / Google slides
  • Outlook / Calendar
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to display initiative, provide creative solutions and utilize diplomatic skills with minimal supervision
