Restaurant Manager - Upscale Restaurant (Boca Raton, FL)
Our client, a renowned upscale restaurant located in the heart of Boca Raton, is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a confidential search being conducted by Gecko Hospitality on behalf of our client.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food and beverage offerings
- Manage and motivate a team of front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts
- Train and develop staff to maintain the restaurant's high standards of service and hospitality
- Monitor and maintain food and beverage inventory, placing orders as necessary
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Address and resolve guest concerns and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff
- Analyze sales data and generate reports to optimize restaurant performance
- Assist in planning and executing promotional events and marketing initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume, upscale setting
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Deep knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktails
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ServSafe certification is a plus
- Passion for creating memorable dining experiences and a commitment to guest satisfaction
- Service-oriented and hospitality-driven
- Guest-focused and hands-on in the dining roo
- Great personality, smile, and professional image
- No visible tattoos or facial piercings
- FOH-focused, no BOH experience required
- Upscale restaurant with a dress code: suit and tie for men, business attire for women
- Ideal candidates have experience from Houstons or Hillstone restaurants
- Minimum of 8 million dollars in volume experience required
