Construction Project Manager

A well-established Henderson NV based commercial construction company is looking for a Project Manager who's responsible for leading, planning, managing, and directing multiple complex projects. All closed sales are assigned to a Project Manager to ensure proper fulfillment and execution of the proposal. Responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and maintaining working relationships with Stake Holders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) of functional areas outside of sales. Required to achieve the operational objectives of concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Work closely with business units to gather requirements on new projects and ensure the requirements are technically feasible

• Manages communication between design & engineering teams and the customer
• Works with purchasing to source and supply all customer equipment required for projects

• Manage the relationships with all stakeholders

• Advise on design and functionally requirements of the project and assure they adhere to business goals

• Develops, reviews, and evaluates project plans and objectives

• Tracks project progress with respect to time, budget, and demonstrated results

• Continually maintains weekly/monthly reports on the status of projects

• Negotiates with customers, resources, and vendors as required

• Applies effective project management methodologies and control techniques

• Onsite delivery and installation supervision, site supervisor role

• Able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds on occasion

• Sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, and talking for extended periods is common.
• Hearing and vision with normal ranges are essential for normal conversations, receiving ordinary information, and preparing and inspecting documents

• Other duties as assigned by Management

• 5+ years of experience managing multiple construction projects.
• BSc/BA degree in engineering, building science, or relevant field.
• Formal Project Management training with proven experience as a construction project manager.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
• Construction and commercial development experience required.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint.
• Must have experience in hands-on project management.
• Strong organizational, time-management, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• A team player with leadership abilities.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be able to pass drug test and background check
• Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days)

• PMP / PRINCE II certification or equivalent will be an advantage
