Job description

The Project Superintendent in Commercial Construction oversees and manages construction projects within retail, restaurant, hospitality, medical, and industrial sectors. This role ensures project delivery with a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule adherence, and effective communication with clients and subcontractors. The superintendent leads teams on site, allocates resources appropriately, and guarantees compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects
  • Manage and enforce safety standards on-site
  • Coordinate project teams and subcontractors effectively
  • Maintain and control project schedules
  • Ensure quality control throughout construction processes
  • Communicate regularly with Project Manager regarding project updates
  • Allocate resources efficiently to meet project demands
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Daily Reports, Daily Photos, 3-week lookahead schedules via Procore.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial construction
