Responsibilities

Noblis MSD is seeking a candidate with experience in Training Administration to work as Manpower, Personnel and Training (MPT) Coordinator supporting USN ships in the Pre-commissioning phase.  Primary work location is Norfolk Naval Base but periodic travel may be required. Using a tailored MPT Wide Area Network application, the selected candidate is expected to:

 Responsibilities

  • Track prospective gains on Permanent Change of Station orders.
  • Review Permanent Change of Station orders for Navy Enlisted Classifications (NEC).
  • Coordinate with Bureau of Naval Personnel (BUPERS) Detailers.
  • Liaison with Navy learning centers, and others to coordinate crew training.
  • Create individual training tracks for service members.
  • Provide school quota management.
  • Document all training for future and completed training utilizing the MPT database.
  • Prepare, submit and brief periodic status reports as a measure of crew training.  
  • Prepare a comprehensive final training report to document training accomplishments in preparation for a successful crew certification.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or Associates degree plus a minimum 5 years relevant experience; An additional 10 years' experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Must have working knowledge of FLTMPS, eNTRS, Cantrac
Desired Qualifications
  • Functional knowledge of MS Office suite and web-based tools and applications
  • Prior Navy experience
  • Knowledge of Navy ranks and ratings

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis' total compensation package for employees.
