Job Description

Lakeshore’s People Team is growing and we are currently searching for an enthusiastic manager to join our Employee Engagement Team. In this position, you’ll help drive initiatives that keep our employees feeling valued, engaged and excited to work at Lakeshore. The ideal candidate will possess a creative mind, outstanding organization, strategic thinking, excellent communication and a passion for serving Lakeshore’s greatest asset: our people!

A day at Lakeshore looks like this:

  • Designing and managing innovative, elevated, purposeful initiatives that drive toward our company-wide employee engagement strategy and outcomes
  • Operationalizing engagement strategies to ensure all Lakeshore employees have a best in class experience working at the company
  • Utilizing employee feedback to enhance and develop strategies that will engage, retain, celebrate and support Lakeshore’s employees
  • Driving our ongoing employee recognition and appreciation programs
  • Supporting the design and management of Lakeshore’s wellness program
  • Planning and executing employee-focused meetings and events, from virtual department get-togethers to large-scale in-person celebrations
  • Working cross-functionally with project stakeholders, external vendors and event participants to elevate our company events and ensure a high level of professionalism and quality
  • Establishing and following standard procedures, timelines, budgets and outcomes for programs, events and activities
  • Analyzing current programs and provide reporting on events and recognition programs; develop data-driven plans to increase engagement
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Strong skills in Microsoft suite, including SharePoint, OneNote, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • 3 years + of experience in project or program management, preferably in the People Services and/or Human Resources function
  • 1 year + experience in event planning – both virtual and in-person
  • Outstanding communication skills 
  • A talent for problem solving
  • “People first” attitude
