Employee Benefits Compliance Analyst

Leading Insurance Company, AssuredPartners of Washington, is seeking a Compliance Analyst to add to their Employee Benefits Compliance team!

Salary: Flexible based on experience and full benefits (health, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and more!)

Job Location: Remote for Washington State Residents.

Work Hours: Roughly 8:30 AM to 5 PM PST (actual hours may vary)

Employee Benefits Compliance Analyst Responsibilities Include:

Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.  

• Helping with EB processes from 5500 wrap plan documents, SPD, SMMs
• Keep an annual compliance calendar
• Update clients on deliverables
• Other duties as assigned
• Travel is expected to be negligible in this role

Employee Benefits Compliance Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-3+ years of Employee Benefits & HR Compliance experience
• In-depth understanding of Washington State regulations
• Direct hands-on experience deciphering and communicating federal and state regulations
• Experience with COVID laws and compliance
• Candidates should be familiar with EBIA Checkpoint and Mineral
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• The patience and ability to interpret extensive legal documents
• Exhibits an extremely high level of attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex subjects in a clear, concise, and consultative manner
• Proficient with agency management systems and/or HR software is a plus
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint with strong keyboarding skills
