Job Description
Great opportunity for a Fine Dining General Manager to create the personality and structure of a chef-driven steakhouse with a waterfront view.
Responsibilities of the General Manager
- Hiring and training of your professional staff.
- Review financial information, monitor budgets, and ensure efficient operation and that expenditures stay within limitations, take action to correct any deviations from the budget.
- Conduct management meetings
- Responsible for daily shift responsibilities.
- Implement policies and procedures.
- Partner with Executive Chef for the culinary program.
- Maintain the system of internal controls.
Requirements of the General Manager
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Manager in an upscale restaurant
- A genuine passion for hospitality and an upbeat fun personality
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Proven ability to lead others and positively influence employee behavior
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standard
