Position Summary:

Pavion and our family of companies (CTSI, AFA, Structure Works, Star Asset Security, et al) is seeking an Accounting Manager. The successful candidate is a dynamic and results driven leader who will bring proven, demonstrable skills, creative problem-solving and innovative thinking to ensure the ongoing implementation of the accounting team to support our growing businesses.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Payroll and benefits related
- Weekly payroll JE
- Allocation of payroll and benefits cost
- Benefits reconciliation (including Cigna, health insurance prepaid reconciliation)
- Payroll accruals (PTO, 401K, ER and EE tax, bonuses, garnishments etc.)
- Payroll reconciliations MTD and YTD (Cigna report-BC19-cash)
Month-end related
- Intangibles amortization
- Fixed Assets - depreciation and roll forward
- Inventory recs. (valuation, GL_SL)
- Other than payroll accruals (revenue, cost)
- JEs and recs. Related to LT liabilities, Refundable deposits, Employees receivables etc.
- GL reconciliations as assigned
- Rolling Balance Sheet updates
Accounting research and error correction
SUT filing back up
FS draft reporting
- CTSI draft financials
- Flux analysis
- Research
YE Audit assistance
Ad Hoc tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
CPA or MBA preferred
Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with other financial systems.
High level of efficiency and accuracy.
Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company regulations.
Attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of data.
