Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager who thrives in a client-facing environment and enjoys serving as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and professional service clients.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role as the firm's second-in-command, working closely with ownership to oversee tax engagements, mentor staff, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to the firm's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corporations, trusts, and closely held businesses.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive tax planning and advisory services.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and responsiveness.
  • Review tax work prepared by staff and senior accountants, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Mentor, train, and develop tax professionals while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Research and resolve complex tax issues and communicate findings to clients and firm leadership.

Qualifications
  • Active CPA license required.
