TAX MANAGER
Job Description
Great opportunity for a Tax Manager to work in a well-established CPA firm in Brentwood. We are a full-service public accounting firm with over 30 years' experience providing bookkeeping, accounting and tax preparation services.
Responsibilities:
  • Tax Manager/CPA will review and/or prepare tax returns (Corporation, Partnership, Trust and Individual), delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
  • Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
  • Providing innovative tax planning and review of complex income tax return
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits, tax provisions, and tax compliance process
  • Improve the firm's processes by developing or implementing best practices

Preferences:
  • Master's in Business Taxation - preferred but not required
  • CPA License - preferred but not required

Qualifications and Requirements for Tax Manager:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Public Accounting (min. req. BA degree in Accounting)
  • Corporation, Partnership, Trust and Individual tax review and preparation experience
  • Strong technical tax review and preparation skills (LACERTE knowledge is a plus)
  • Tax Audit Representation experience is a plus
  • Tax Research abilities
  • Must have excellent computer skills (QuickBooks & Microsoft office programs)
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize/multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with staff members of diverse accounting background
  • Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
