Job description

We are seeking a Tax-Preparer Trainee to join Unlimited Taxes and serve clients with diverse tax needs.

We offer competitive commission, bonus pay opportunities, and flexible scheduling.

Unlimited Taxes services clients Nationally. We are focused on delivering the highest level of Tax Preparation and Client Services.

Tax Preparer duties include:

  • Generate new business and offer additional products and services
  • Conduct face-to-face and virtual tax interviews with clients
  • Prepare and complete accurate tax returns
  • Provide customer service and direct clients to the appropriate department in the event of an audit.
  • Provide updates and ensure that all client questions are answered quickly.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax
  • Experience completing individual returns
  • Tax planning and audit support
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must satisfy 18-hour continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Sales and/or marketing experience is a MUST
  • Good customer service
  • Positive attitude
