The Role: 

We are building a team of world class talent and are looking for an organizational powerhouse who can collaborate with multiple internal teams and stakeholders. You will manage our full employee life-cycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and the entire employee experience. As the People Operations Manager, you will have a front row seat and a direct impact on the next phase of our growth. Our ideal candidate is passionate about making our People's daily life smoother, empowers people at every turn, and takes initiative to ensure the health and growth of our employees.

This role is fully remote, full-time, and will report directly to the Director of People Operations. This role will shape the culture and rhythms of a growing organization through thoughtful process development, communications and individual support of our distributed global team.

Responsibilities: 

• Designing, automating and streamlining People operational processes, and providing recommendations on strategies that can enhance our operations and the employee experience
• Managing  all People Operations functions, such as onboarding / offboarding, benefit & compensation administration, visa-related requests, payroll, time off requests, benefits and performance management
• Collaborate with multiple internal teams/stakeholders and external PEO vendors globally.
• Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance
• Serving as the subject matter expert on the Viz.ai benefit plans and overseeing administration of all US employee benefit programs including health and wellbeing plans, and defined contribution (401k and deferred compensation) retirement plans
• Payroll administration and management, partnering with Finance and our PEO. 

Requirements

• 5+ years of Human Resources / People Operations experience, preferably at a high-growth tech company / start-up
• Experience with PEO Exit process and implementation
• Experience in employee payroll/benefits administration and management
• Experience with creating full employee journey in a high-growth tech company/start-up
• Extensive knowledge of HR compliance, federal and state regulations, filing, and other compliance requirements, including COBRA, FMLA, and DOL/FLSA requirement
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Table, Vlookup)  and report development
