Job Description

We are a busy regional print and digital publisher serving the tourism and theatrical markets in California, Washington and Hawaii. Our recent growth has created a need for a Marketing Assistant, who will work closely with the Marketing Director by assisting with corporate and client communications, ad trafficking and the strengthening of the company’s various brands.

Roles and Responsibilities

Process and maintain client and contract database

Liaise with clients for advertising, editorial submissions and added benefits

Develop and schedule content of posts and images for use on social media

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure brand consistency

Gather materials and data through market research and analytics

Assist sales with proposals and marketing materials

Assist with events/promotions and facilitate their success

Write copy and prepare corporate communications

Attributes

High attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Experience in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

Background in advertising and design (preferred)

Extremely organized and adaptable

Creative

Ability to work independently

Self-starter and self-motivated

Ability to work cooperatively with a team towards shared goals

Some experience with photography or videography
