Its a part-time role with a minimum of 40 hours a month.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Updating/Maintaining SAM registration
• Updating/Revision of company's capabilities statements to be used for marketing
• Searching public websites for business development leads
• Performing market research to determine the best fit leads. This may include search by agency, NAICS codes, set asides for small business, and capabilities alignment.
• Responding to any inquiries or other ad hoc requests for the month.

EMPLOYEE SKILLS:

• Ability to juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy
• Strong administrative skills
• Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills
• Ability to search public websites such as government agencies, SAM.GOV, Federal Procurement Database (FPDS) and possibly social media sites such as LinkedIn.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
• Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

EXPECTED WORK PRODUCT:

• Monthly spreadsheet of identified contracting officers that have posted current or upcoming contracting opportunities for internal business development purposes.
• Other future work products or assigned tasks may include GSA Schedule revisions, providing support on other business development administrative tasks such as responding to BD email boxes.
