    Job description

    Job Description and Tasks:

    The contractor shall provide strategy and recommendations for evolving cloud architecture, including hybrid, containerized, and edge. The recommendation should include a path to meet requirements supporting capabilities and security.

    The contractor shall provide budget estimates based on the MARS cloud roadmap. Monitor and identify cloud service anomalies. Evaluate cloud systems and provide feedback on performance and/or cost options.

    The contractor shall evaluate and recommend strategy and tools to improve MARS CI/CD pipeline to automated, speed, aud· secure MARS system across- the different environments including: on-prem, hybrid, and edge.

    The contractor shall support MARS edge and cross domain solution development. The contractor shall manage and oversee non-routine and complex projects with agile development teams as assigned.

    The contractor shall provide strategy and recommendations of available cloud providers and service for adoption in the MARS environment. Stay abreast of providers and services (current and roadmap) in the MARS environment. Advocate for services that MARS can leverage to improve security, performance, and availability.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree.

    Minimum Experience Required:

    Ten (10) years minimum experience with the Department of Defense. (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) in a relevant position.

    Preferred Experience Required: Bachelor/Master's degree on IT or computer- science arc desired but not required.

    Certifications: AWS certification as solution architect

    Security Clearance:

    This position requires with TOP SECRET clearance/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) eligibility with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
