    Senior Director, Global People Analytics & Workforce Intelligence- Mars Veterinary Health
    LOCATION & SCHEDULE:
    Support Office - Vancouver, Full time
    COMPENSATION:
    $161,600.00 - $252,500.00

    This role requires Associates to work out of MVH Hub location in North America.
    Why This Role Matters:
    The Sr Director for Global People Analytics is a hands-on leader to architect and execute the global People Analytics strategy for a complex, multi-brand enterprise. This role goes beyond reporting-it transforms people data into actionable insights that drive profitability, productivity, and employee experience. Partner with business leaders and functional heads to solve critical business challenges through advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and workforce insights.
    Mandate: turn people data into our most valuable strategic asset while building organizational data literacy and fostering a culture of evidence-based decision-making.
    You Will:
    Strategy & Executive Consultation
    • Define and execute a multi-year analytics roadmap, evolving from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive insights.
    • Serve as the primary data consultant to senior leadership, translating complex datasets into compelling narratives that inform business strategy.
    • Partner with business and functional leaders to diagnose critical business challenges (e.g., high attrition in specific regions, diversity gaps in leadership) and recommend evidence-based solutions.

    Leadership & Team Development
    • Lead and mentor a global team of Senior Analysts and developers, fostering technical excellence and consultative capability.
    • Promote continuous learning in advanced statistical methods and analytics best practices.
    • Drive resource allocation to balance urgent executive requests with strategic projects.
    • Raise the "Data IQ" of the organization by educating P&O and business leaders on how to leverage insights to drive decision-making.

    Workforce Intelligence & Forecasting
    • Conduct deep-dive trend analysis to identify shifts in labor capacity, productivity, and cost over time. Answer not just what is happening, but why it is happening.
    • Develop predictive models for attrition, talent gaps, and succession planning.
    • Conduct scenario planning with Finance and Operations to model workforce volume and costs under various business conditions.
    • Integrate internal data with external labor market trends to guide global talent strategies.

    Data Storytelling & Visualization
    • Transform static reports into dynamic, executive-ready stories and presentations.
    • Tell the "Story of the Workforce" that connect workforce trends to P&L outcomes.
    • Oversee the design of intuitive dashboards and presentations for business leaders and P&O BPs.

    Data Governance & Technology
    • Establish a "single source of truth" through robust governance and partnership with HRIS to automate data quality checks and cleanse historical data, ensuring high confidence and consistency in reporting outputs.
    • Partner with Data privacy and security teams to ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and local regulations and ethical usage of data.
    • Optimize the analytics tech stack, leveraging advanced tools and AI-driven platforms.

    Global Reporting & Metrics
    • Define global P&O data dictionary and standard taxonomies to ensure the "Vital Few" KPIs (e.g., "Time to Fill," "Headcount") are defined identically across all brands.
    • Enable self-service reporting to reduce manual workload and empower business leaders.
    • Develop and evolve P&O metrics to amplify value-driving metrics in response to key business challenges (e.g. Revenue per FTE, Quality of Hire).

    Your Experience Should Include:
    • Education: Bachelor's required; Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or MBA preferred.
    • 10+ years in People Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Workforce Strategy.
    • 5+ years leading senior-level analytics teams in a global matrix organization (50k+ employees).
    • Advanced proficiency in common visualization tools.
    • Familiarity with tools and techniques commonly used in People Analytics: R or Python, SQL, data management & engineering, cloud platforms and statistical analysis.
    • Deep knowledge of HCM systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle).

    Salary Range: $161,600 - $271,438
    Compensation is determined based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and market competitiveness.
