Description

Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, highly motivated Project Manager to work in its Surveying Group. This position will include working on a wide range of survey projects, including boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, IDOT plat of highways, topographic surveying, and more. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration, and teamwork.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Leadership skills and team member oversight.
  • Participate in business development with current and new clients. 
  • Develop accurate budgets and proposals.
  • Direct and manage personnel assigned to the survey group.
  • Track costs and upkeep project budgets. 
  • Managing multiple large projects at the same time.
  • Plat creation, boundary calculations, and oversight. 
  • Research public records both online and at the recorder's office.

Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a land surveyor in the State of Illinois.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Trimble Business Center. 
  • Be able to operate Trimble robotic total station and Trimble GPS equipment. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to multitask, adhere to timelines, and remain focused.
