Job description

Scheduling Project Manager

Location: Austin, TX

Salary: $70,000-$72,000/YR

At Securitas, we have business operations in 45 markets and capabilities ranging from guarding to tech-enabled security. We provide specialized guarding services and outstanding tech-enabled security tailored to our prestigious clients. Our world class services are designed to incorporate a high degree of technological content. 

We are searching for an experienced Scheduling Project Manager to join our team! Seeking a personable, dedicated individual to schedule Security Officers in the field for our prestigious client. This position is fast paced and has a heavy focus on scheduling to ensure all shifts are covered. The Scheduling Project Manager is responsible for maintaining staffing levels and communicating with team members to provide updates on scheduling progress and forecasting.

Scheduling Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Independently manages, establishes, maintains and reviews schedules for a large Securitas contract in the Austin area

  • Manages and performs daily, weekly and ongoing tasks for payroll completion and accuracy

  • Provides management support for shared service functions including billing and invoicing as well as attention to detail with accounts receivable processes and policy

  • Matches available staff to a wide range of posts and is responsible for communicating schedule modifications to a variety of community stakeholders

  • Communicates all scheduling modifications directly with staff in a timely manner

  • Works strategically with the District Manager to minimize overtime through effective scheduling tactics

  • Contacts and re-deploys staff to fill call-offs

  • Responds quickly to rapid schedule shifts and client requests with collaborative approach

  • Controls processes in automated resource systems

Position Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

  • Advance computer / technology skills needed and able to manage multiple programs for a single project

  • Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic

  • Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication

  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus

  • Customer service background preferred 

  • Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner in an office and field environment

  • Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift

  • Must have great attention to detail 

  • Must be comfortable conducting access control duties 

  • Must be a subject matter expert of proprietary software given by the Company and Client

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • At least 2 years of prior related experience required in payroll, data entry, dispatching, or management
