Job Description

Are you an experienced Healthcare Customer Service Representative in Pittsburgh, PA  looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company? Daily Responsibilities of the Healthcare Customer Service Representative:

  • Provides timely response to internal or external customer order inquiries by telephone and/or email in an in or outbound service center, consistent with service and quality standards.

  •  Provides pricing, availability, and schedules information within established guidelines.

  •  Receives inbound and outbound calls to patients or MD Offices regarding orders for medications, pharmacy services and all other inquiries.

  • Provides new and existing patients with the best possible customer service in relation to their drug prescriptions, clinical services, billing inquiries, patients’ suggestions and complaints as part of the Special Handling, Limited Distribution or Drug/Disease specific teams.

 

Healthcare Customer Service Representative Requirements:

  • HS diploma or GED

  • At least 1+ year of experience working in a call center environment or handling high volume calls

  • MUST have prescription entry skills and data entry (computer proficient)

 

Hours for this Healthcare Customer Service Representative Position:

  • Monday – Friday 40hr/week - Facility Hours between 8:00am – 8:00pm and possible Saturday shift with a weekday off

 

Pay:

  • $15.00 per hour
