Position: Site Manager - Healthcare Clinical Operations
Location: San Francisco, CA
Shift: Full Time / Direct Hire / Permanent
Job Summary: Oversees the Clinical teams that perform Wireless, Traditional Event and Pacemaker monitoring. The expectation of the Site Manager is to maintain the highest levels of service by addressing the needs of the company’s physician practices. Directly develop and strengthen their direct and indirect staff. Develop strong professional working relationships with internal and external team members and internal and external clients. To provide exemplary service using the we care approach to all internal and external customers while continuing to support growth as the leader in our industry. The Site Manager also has the responsibility for direct oversight of the physical location of the monitoring center. The Site Manager provides cross-coverage to manage staffing and/or operational issues and participates in space planning, process improvement and other special projects as directed for the facility. This person is the point person for any facility related issues or concerns and is the direct contact for any outside visitor(s) governmental agency that may visit time to time.
Job Description
- Assist in developing clinical service standards, policies and procedures for the department.
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed by direct and indirect reports (all Company, HIPAA, and Medicare)
- Manage wireless team to meet company expected performance and quality results
- Manage the team’s work activities.
- Ensures timely and complete feedback to team regarding QA results, performance suggestions, and departmental goals.
- Analyze data or metrics to identify and affect service levels for the department.
- Communicate/collaborate on a regular basis with peers throughout the wireless monitoring locations.
- Maintain open lines of communication with other department heads throughout the company.
- Proactively interact with all internal departments to ensure that patient and practice needs are met with the highest degree of quality.
- Demonstrate thoroughness of work assignments including follow up and completion within time limits.
- Maintain scheduling flexibility to ensure availability to meet the needs of the department for all hours of operation.
- Maintain highest levels of confidentiality regarding both patient and employee records in accordance with all applicable industry and company guidelines.
- Complete direct staff annual performance reviews and assist with indirect performance reviews where needed
- Work in conjunction with human resources on sourcing, interviewing and hiring staff for the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in from an accredited college/university in a health care related field: required
- Five (5) or more years’ experience preferably in an acute/clinical setting: required
- Minimum of 2 years’ of progressive management experience with demonstrated success relevant to Manager role: required
- Active CRAT or CCT certification, OR active California RN license: required
- Superior knowledge of EKG monitoring/interpretation and event recorders: required
- Strong time management skills with ability of multi-tasking in a fast-paced business environment: required
