Prep Cook

The Prep Cook’s roles and responsibilities are to prepare all menu items to specifications in a manner that is pleasing to the guest and enhances the guest experience. The Prep Cook works directly with the Store Manager, must have the ability to work as part of a team, and be proficient with a wide range of kitchen tools and utensils, including chopping knives and kitchen equipment. Additional duties include ensuring that all food ingredients are dated, rotated, temperature gauged, and stored according to national food safety protocols. This position performs kitchen maintenance tasks such as emptying trash, washing dishes, cleaning/sanitizing equipment, and sweeping/mopping. All tasks, communications, and behaviors are performed with the mindset that everything the illy team does is for the pleasure and experience of our guests.
