The Opportunity

Innovate and Lead - Join our growing Water and Wastewater team in Winnipeg, MB (remote applicants considered) as a Senior Water/Wastewater Process Engineer/Project Manager. You'll be a trusted design resource and project leader on municipal water and wastewater treatment projects that shape communities across Canada.

Our Manitoba team is a close-knit group of professionals with experience ranging from decades to fresh perspectives. Together, we deliver design and project management services for municipal clients, including treatment facilities, pump stations, reservoirs, and distribution systems.


Your Impact

  • Manage multi-disciplinary engineering projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
  • Deliver innovative designs for municipal water and wastewater systems, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and detailed engineering specifications.
  • Lead feasibility studies, options evaluations, and economic assessments of treatment technologies to guide critical decisions.
  • Oversee procurement and tendering of major process equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive project financials, schedules, and deliverables while mentoring junior and intermediate engineers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute scopes of work and manage subcontractors effectively.
  • Champion health and safety, quality management, and regulatory compliance throughout project lifecycles.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • 10+ years of technical expertise in water/wastewater treatment design and project delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering; Master's degree is an asset.
  • Professional Engineer designation or eligibility with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM).
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently and manage complex, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in business development and client relationship building.
  • Strong knowledge of permitting processes, contract administration, and commissioning practices.
  • Valid driver's licence and readiness to travel as needed.

Compensation

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $114,600 - $151,800
MB & ON: $104,500 - $143,900
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $103,500 - $137,400
