Mechanical Engineer Summary:
As the Mechanical Project Engineer, you will work closely within a dynamic team to complete a number of small to large projects. You will undertake projects with details, requirements, and deadlines where you will use your engineering, design, and communication skills towards completing projects and overcoming challenges. Typical projects will involve field work, conceptual and final design through production of fabrication and installation prints; coordination of fabrication, installation, and project start-up. You will lead meetings to solicit input from a project team, update project progression, and ensure the internal customers' needs are being met. The Mechanical Engineer will serve as great transition for an engineer looking to further their engineering and management skills in an array of projects, as well as opportunity to progress at a great company.
  • Engineering and project management tasks as a member of the engineering team
  • Work with manufacturing to identify issues and create solutions / improvements
  • Provide justification analysis to prove the fiscal viability of a given project
  • Design layouts, assemblies and detail drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Follow through on projects from the design to implementation
  • Set and maintain project milestones and schedules

  • Work with internal and external Team Members in fabrication. machining, and installation
  • Communicate projects updates with internal customers
  • Manage multiple projects at once in organized manner

Mechanical Project Engineer Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in an engineering and or project management field
  • SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Proficient computer skills including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to lift 75 lb
