Mechanical Designer / Engineer (3-7 Years Experience)
Location: Clarks Summit, PA (Onsite with Hybrid Fridays)
Salary Range: $75,000 - $105,000 (based on experience and certifications)

Position Overview
A multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Designer / Engineer with 3-7 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and/or fire protection design to join its MEP team. This role involves supporting projects from concept through construction while collaborating with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders across multiple market sectors.
Projects include healthcare, educational, commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities throughout PA, NY, and NJ.
Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze HVAC systems including air distribution, hydronic systems, equipment selection, and controls concepts
Support plumbing and fire protection system design and coordination
Assist with energy modeling and life cycle cost analysis studies
Develop construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit
Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, plumbing engineers, and other disciplines throughout project phases
Participate in field investigations, site visits, and construction administration activities
Communicate with clients, contractors, and project teams regarding technical project requirements
Preferred Qualifications
FE/EIT certification preferred
Experience with healthcare, commercial, educational, or industrial projects
Knowledge of applicable building and energy codes
Familiarity with energy modeling and life cycle cost analysis
