Description

Scotto Properties, the Real Estate Division for VRG has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Lease Operations Coordinator to work out of the Corporate Office in Morristown, NJ.

Scotto Properties was founded 15 years ago by Anthony and Biagio Scotto. Their vision was to create a portfolio of long-term real estate investments with a focus on residential, retail, and value add development sites. The portfolio focuses on properties based in New Jersey and Florida.

The Lease Operations Coordinator will partner directly with the Regional Property Manager and the Accounting Department to ensure that all lease files are following company standards. This individual will review all lease components and enter them into YARDI and manage them throughout the lifetime of the lease. This individual will initiate and implement policies to maintain tenant compliance as well as with company standards and government agency regulations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• The Lease Operations Coordinator will audit tenant files on a regular basis for lease compliance, APPFOLIO reporting, and tenant move-in/move outs. In addition, this position will review all notices to vacate and report on move-out trends.

• Responsible for commercial lease administrative duties (e.g. Abstraction of new leases, amendments, etc.) into APPFOLIO making sure all records are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.

• This position will initiate and implement policies/procedures to maintain resident communications, complaints, service, and maintenance requests.

• Coordinate and manage the collection of Certificates of Insurance (COI's) from both commercial and residential tenants. This position will also assist the Regional Property Manager in processing of insurance claims involving property damage and liability.

• The Lease Operations Coordinator will ensure all notices are served regarding rent increases, delinquent rents, and other lease infractions.

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED

• Associate degree in management or related discipline
• 2-5 years independent property management experience (residential and/or commercial)
• Proficiency with APPFOLIO, YARDI, AVID, and Rent Cafe as well as all MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
