Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the Director of Rehabilitation will be responsible for the clinical and operational success of Skill Sprout Rehabilitation services, ensuring seamless team management and development, effective program delivery, and clinical quality control.
Responsibilities may include:
Manages and oversees all departmental services, including operational efficiency and clinical quality and integrity
Develops and implements departmental policy and procedures
Clinical Supervision as applicable
Manages the recruitment/hiring, training/professional development, and objective performance evaluations of clinical employees
Directs and organizes departmental team meetings and retreats
Builds a successful and productive team of committed, efficient and specialized employees
Collaborates effectively with other departments and clinical directors
Researches and maintains awareness of advances in clinical services and best practice
Initiates and accomplishes the expansion of clinical services and regions
Delegates and effectively oversees projects and initiatives of appropriate departmental leads/managers,
Participates in and spearheads Clinical Leadership projects and initiatives
Develops and executes strategic plan of department
Establishes collaborative relationships with other organizations, providers, and/or schools to further common goals of Skill Sprout and our communities
Effectively manages and consistently meets departmental billing and productivity goals
Develops, implements, and evaluates methods to ensure effective and efficient use of staff, facilities, supplies, and other resources while maintaining ethical and legal standards
Generates departmental budgets and controls costs based on profit and loss statements.
Occasional travel as necessary to oversee all regions and services
Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 5-7 years working with children with special needs in the field of speech language therapy or occupational therapy and 5 years' management experience developing programs/service lines.
- Current licensure/certification as a SLP or OTR.
- Preferred continuing education in the area of Leadership.
