Job description
We are seeking a Medical Scribe to join our team! You will transcribe medical reports by physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
Responsibilities:
- Transcribe reports from medical providers
- Translate abbreviations into proper form
- Review reports for completeness
- Correct errors in transcription, grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Realtime Scribe into EMR
- Chart Prep for Future Appointments
- Assist Medical Assistant with patient Intake
- Patient phone interviews
- Patient Portal upkeep and review
- Appointment scheduling
- Room Prep & Cleaning
- Medical Instrument Cleaning and Sanitizing
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical transcription or other related fields
- GYN or Reproductive Endocrinology background helpful
- Familiarity with transcription devices, EMR
- Proficient with medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail
- Team Player
- Leadership Skills
