JOB SUMMARY:

Compliance Program Manager directs and oversees the implementation and management of the hospital's research compliance program. This individual serves as the liaison for issues pertaining to research compliance activities and functions and improves research efforts by providing excellent
support and consultative services, in areas related to the regulatory and ethical aspects of conducting research for optimal outcomes of child health. Reporting to the Senior Director, Research Administration, the Research Compliance Program Manager will be responsible for auditing and
oversight of ongoing research, investigating and responding to potential conflicts of interest, providing educational programs for Principal Investigators and research staff, and maintaining the hospital's research-related assurances and accreditations with the appropriate government agencies. The individual will function as the primary contact for all policies and procedures related to the conduct of research. Working with Research Administration and the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer, the Program Manager oversees the continuous assessment, development and maintenance of a comprehensive research compliance program and audit plan and provides direct support in effecting ongoing operations/enhancement of research audit and compliance activities
including ensuring appropriate clinical record documentation, consents, and billing for all studies/clinical trials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 Years of Experience
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of research compliance topics, risks and related government regulations. Experience implementing research studies and programs involving human subjects.
• Strong project management skills. Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, muti-task and manage audits, projects and time to meet demanding timelines. High level of competency with databases and/or systems applications.
• Relevant experience within grants or compliance environment
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 8 Years of Experience
The expected hiring range for this position is $37.63 - $51.75
