Position Summary:
Mechanical Engineers at PowerBuilt assist with various ergonomic, mechanical, and structural projects. Work is performed both on computer and in the field, working at various manufacturing facilities.
Some of the tasks typical for this position:
• Design Lift Assist manipulators, clamps, below-the-hook devices, conveyors, racks, etc.
• Research and specification of parts and components
• Draft models of various mechanical and structural projects
• Produce layout and detail drawings, including parts lists and BOM
• Perform field verifications, measurements & project site visits
• Manage Projects from start to finish
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience & 4-year College Degree in Engineering
• Competent in SolidWorks Design and Drafting
• Industrial and/or manufacturing experience
• Familiar with mechanical components such as actuators, gears, pivots, pneumatics, cylinders
• AutoCAD experience
• Quick and Responsive Communicator
• Competent with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Able to Multi-task
• Organizational skills
• High attention to detail
