The Role:

Pangaea is looking for a Senior Social Media Manager who will be responsible for the execution and reporting across all organic Social Media Channels (FB, IG, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube) for emerging brands under the Pangaea umbrella. This person will also manage Influencer channels and optimize their performance across our brand portfolio. This position will be fully remote but we are looking for someone located in Los Angeles, CA area.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:
  • Help brainstorm, develop, and execute engaging social media campaigns across all social media platforms.
  • Schedule, write, and publish all social media posts across multiple platforms.
  • Work in partnership with the Creative team to develop engaging, interactive, and informative social media content.
  • Track performance and metrics across social media platforms to be able to inform various internal teams of content performance.
  • Conduct regular outbounding to help increase awareness of Pangaea brands.
  • Keep up to speed on all social trends, including new channels, updates to existing channels, creative trends, etc. Stay informed of platform updates.

Influencer Management:
  • Work in partnership with the broader Marketing team to create and execute comprehensive influencer marketing strategies on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify, track, and analyze key performance metrics through Planoly and Sprout Social.
  • Lead the talent sourcing, outreach, negotiation, and onboarding of Pangaea's influencers and brand ambassadors. Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key influencers and serve as the point of contact.
  • Grow Pangaea's brand awareness by leading giveaways with partner brands.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in social media management
  • Minimum of 5 years leading a small but mighty Social team
  • Expert knowledge of the social media industry and trends across all major networks: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Experience managing Influencer partnerships within an e-commerce environment
  • Understanding of social media technology, channels, best practices, and strategy
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and ability to edit videos on Instagram and TikTok
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and work across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
