What You'll Do
As a Medical Scribe at OrthoAtlanta, you will serve as a personal clerical assistant to a physician or Advanced Practice Provider, focusing on accurate, real-time documentation and clinical support. You'll play a critical role in enhancing role efficiency and ensuring complete, high-quality patient records.
Clinical Documentation: Accompany the provider into patient rooms to thoroughly document patient encounters in the
electronic medical record (EMR).
Chart Management: Document laboratory results, radiology studies, medications administered, patient responses to
treatment, and physician consultations.
Record Review: Research and summarize pertinent past medical records to support clinical decision-making.
Provider Support: Assist with obtaining supplies or items needed by the physician during clinic sessions.
Team Collaboration: Perform additional duties as assigned by the Practice Administrator to support clinic operations.
