Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• Current Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Additional department-specific certifications (ACLS, etc.) preferred or obtainable post-hire
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for individuals with neuro and pulmonary conditions
• Perform thorough assessments and adjust care plans as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare team members
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document changes accurately
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals
• Support a collaborative and respectful work environment while mentoring peers and support staff
