POSITION: EVP Accounting & Control
REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer

SUMMARY
The EVP Accounting & Control will be responsible for leading LDG’s accounting, tax, internal audit, and data & reporting functions. The successful candidate will focus on improving and evolving the Company’s accounting activities and related processes, internal controls, and financial reporting to support LDG’s current and future business needs. This person will be a change agent by identifying accounting/financial risks and inefficiencies with current processes, developing innovative strategies, and then managing and implementing the optimal solution. The EVP will pursue the alignment, integration, and collaboration of the accounting organization with the various execution teams throughout the Company with an eye-toward being a value-add partner. A key senior leader, the EVP will be accountable for developing strong teams, building a collaborative and supportive culture, and growing and developing talent.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate is a strategic leader with at least 10 years of real estate experience (particularly LIHTC and/or construction-focused) in the areas of accounting, internal audit, tax, and data & reporting. Ideally, coming from a GP or a real estate investment firm, this individual will possess a strong business understanding of the issues affecting a company that is developing and managing multifamily housing. They will be smart, proactive, and mature, have an extraordinary work ethic, and willing to take ownership of their role.

You are required to work in enclosed office spaces in a climate-controlled environment. Noise levels will be moderate due to office equipment, foot traffic, telephones, and meetings. This position requires travel as needed to support portfolio oversight and business in multiple states.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, employees must be able to engage in routine physical activities, including standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and using their hands for typing and handling materials.
Employees must be capable of lifting or moving items up to 10 pounds and possess adequate visual abilities, including close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel may be required.
