Job Description
The Global Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely monthly close while maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP. This role helps lead the consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, consolidation adjustments and the corporate accounting activities. This role will drive consistency and efficiency with accounting methodologies and processes in support of all Revelyst brands. This position reports to the Director of Accounting and is based out of our Irvine, CA office.
As the Global Accounting Manager, you will have an opportunity to:
  • Lead and oversee month-end close activities for all Revelyst brands.
  • Prepare and review accounting entries, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate and lead consolidation including intercompany, management fees and elimination activities.
  • Analyze financial results and investigate variances to forecast or trends
  • Perform and support other general accounting activities as directed
  • Drive improvements and standardization to the close process
  • Ensure consistent application of accounting guidance and company accounting policies across all brands. Oversee, improve and standardize accounting and process documentation.
  • Develop, maintain, and update corporate accounting policies.
  • Support annual financial statement audit and lend expertise as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and motivate direct reports
  • Supervise and review the work of direct reports
  • Support evaluation of accounting implications of significant or strategic transactions.
  • Maintain effective internal control over financial reporting.

You have:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • CPA license, with experience in national public accounting firm.
  • 8+ years' experience in accounting, including experience supervising others.
  • Experience in large or mid-cap companies-preferably in consumer products or similar industry.
  • Experience with global entities, intercompany accounting, foreign currency and consolidation.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Netsuite a plus.
  • Ability to work in a complex organization having multiple business units, brands and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated talent for improving processes and a mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Strong work ethic, a sense of urgency and unquestioned integrity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).
  • Ability to work on site in our Irvine, CA offices at least 4 days per week.

Pay Range:
Annual Salary: $145,000.00 - $152,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
